Ruth Tyler Gotwals Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Tyler Gotwals of Norristown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 24, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Tyler and Helen Irons Tyler; her husband Robert (Bob); and her brothers, Albert and Richard Tyler.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Story (Kirk) of Bluefield, WV; her grandchildren, Rob Story (Sheri), Erica Carbone (Stephen) and Laura Ruth Boyles (Matt); and her son Robert Gotwals Jr. (Tami) of Durham. She is also survived by his children.
Right before the pandemic took hold in March 2020, we rented a big house in Durham, and all of the family, from points across the country, converged for a weekend gathering.
