It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A. Catagnus of Norristown, Pennsylvania, born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac E. Kirkner and Fannie Kirkner; her husband Benjamin A. Catagnus; and her brother Richard. She is survived by: her children, Virginia DiRado (Anthony), Charlene Cavello (Dominick), Nancy Donnelly (Thomas) and Earl "Buddy" Catagnus (Rosemarie Cappolina); her stepson Timothy Woodward (Maureen); and her grandchildren, Angela Maria (Matthew), Antoinette (Raymond), Christine (George), Dominick (Breta), Keith, Thomas III (Jennifer), Stephen (Meagan), Kimberly (Patrick), Christopher (Jessica), Earl, Jr. (Rebecca), Dawn, Stacy, Dana and Joey. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Ruth's funeral service and burial will be private.
