It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael S. Vernacchio Sr. (Norristown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Vernacchio and Josephine Vernacchio (Milito); his wife Carol Vernacchio (Chinchilli); and his brother Anthony Vernacchio. He is survived by: his children, Michele Sergio (Michael) of Ocean City, MD, James Vernacchio (Deanyne) of Collegeville, Michael Jr. Vernacchio (Kimberly) of East Norriton and David Vernacchio (Stephanie) of Plymouth Meeting; his grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle, Jimmy Jr., Michael III, Elaina, Anthony, Clare, Cara, Frankie and Charles; his sister Theresa Palaia (Joseph); and his sisters-in-law, Donna Powers (John), Nancy Witman (Stephen) and Roseanne Vernacchio. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Saviour Church (407 E Main St, Norristown, PA 19401). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Patrick Cemetery (2400 Dekalb Pike, East Norriton, PA 19403).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Saviour Church, Norristown PA, in memory of Michael.
