It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Balzona (Norristown, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 17, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elia and Giacommina Elia; her spouse Pasquale Balzona; her daughter Rosemary Fazio; and her siblings, Michael Elia, James "Vincent" Elia, Joseph Elia and Yolanda Grady.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Russo (late Joseph) of Plymouth Meeting and Josie Matty (Tom) of Lower Providence; her son-in-law Robert Fazio of Lower Providence; her grandchildren, Thomas Matty, Jr. (Angela), Joseph Russo, III (Courtney), James Matty, Anita Fazio, Maryann Russo, Bobby Fazio, Jr. and Jonathan Matty (Chrissy); her great grandchildren, Thomas, Nathan, Joshua, Adam, Sophia, Sydney and Alexander Joseph; and her sister-in-law Thelma Elia of Philadelphia.
