She was predeceased by: her parents, Zigmund Ostroski and Anna Ostroski; her husband Paul F. Gillespie, Sr.; and her siblings, Josephine Carney and Alfred Ostroski.

She is survived by: her children, Paul F. Jr. (Helen), Kevin (Loretta), Sharon Melendez (Joe) and Donna Gillespie; her grandchildren, Megan, Chrissy (Dave), Paul, III, Katie, Kelsey (Andrew) and Michelle (Carlos); her great grandchildren, Carter and Sienna; and her siblings, Walter Ostroski (Peggy) and Helen Roberto (late James).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's name can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
