He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Angela; his daughters, Emily and Sarah; his parents, Sidney MacLeod and Mary Jane MacLeod; his siblings, Mary, Sidney Jr and Bradford; his nieces and nephews, Lydia, Eleanor, Benjamin and Daniel; and his mother-in-law Marianne Nicholas. He was also cherished by friends— especially his wife and daughters.
