He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carlin and Helen Carlin (Mannion); and his brother George Carlin. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite "Peggy" Carlin (Scannell); his children, Christopher Carlin (Michele), Timothy Carlin (Mary Henold) and Eileen Carlin (Rachel Marcus); his siblings, Kevin Carlin (Janis) and Lynn Gibson (Gary); and his grandchildren, Erin, Kayleigh, Logan, Ella, Hank, Maggie and Elliott.
