She is survived by: her children, Charlene Garland (Joseph), Mark Whitaker (Natalie), Jane Danella (Daniel), Barry Whitaker (Lynn), Marie Given (Kurt) and Charles Whitaker (Beth Ann); her grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Kristen, Briana, Nicholas, Johanna, Janette, Jeffrey, Robert, Calvin, Jennifer, Kirbie, Amy, Cooper, Megan and Dennis; her stepgrandchild Brianne; her sisters, Frances Lorenz and Rita Foley; and her siblings-in-law, Mary, Janet Whitaker and William Whitaker. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
