She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Rittenhouse (Todd) and Harold Rittenhouse; and her granddaughter Sara Jane Sprenkle. She is survived by: her children, Krista Altemose, Karen Sprenkle (Richard), Gregory Altemose (Michelle) and Jennifer Altemose-Juliano (Patrick); and her grandchildren, Stephanie Boyer (Sprenkle), Quentin Altemose, Jared Sprenkle, David Altemose, Gregory Altemose and Matthew Altemose.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Montgomery County SPCA , 19 E. Ridge Pike, PO Box 222 , Conshohocken , PA 19428-0222 or the Kevin Cain Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 536 , Havertown , PA 19083 , established for chemotherapy patient comfort and financial assistance during treatment.
