He is survived by: his daughter Debra Carter-Coles (Satcher); his grandchildren, Darien Carter-Coles (U. S. Navy) and Xèla Satcher; his great grandchild Anjali Carter-Coles; and his siblings, Mildred Coles (Thompson), Peggy Paige Davenport, Cathy Williams, Daymond Davenport, Alton James and Gregory Coles.
