He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh F. Maher and Catherine Ferguson Maher of Washingtonville, NY; and his daughter Mary Trinka Maher. He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Maher Gaspard (Joseph Charles Gaspard, Sr.) and Stuart Francis Maher; his stepfather Thomas Merton Cahill; his stepsister Jane M. Cahill; and his nephew Joseph Charles Gaspard Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
