He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Deans, Sr. and Helen Deans (Knight); his siblings, Penelope Deans (Penny), Deborah Deans (Debby), George, Jr. Deans (Duke), Craig Deans (Snoops) and Karl Deans (Stinky); and his stepson Ronald Shepherd, II.
He is survived by: his daughters, Derrica Deans (Poohy) and Lorissa Deans (Rudy); his stepdaughter Latisha Solomon; his grandchildren, Bianca, Nevaeh, Jonaeh, Kayden, Kamari and Henry (Hank); his siblings, Philip Deans (Butch) and Pamela Deans (Pam); and his godchildren, Derrick Etheridge-Still, Paige Etheridge and Phylicia Antonini. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
