She was predeceased by: her parents, Pasquale Carfagno and Mary Carfagno (Centanni); her husband Joseph Rubert, Sr.; her son Joseph Rubert, Jr.; and her siblings, Pasquale Carfagno, Angeline Gounley, Mary Piacictelly, Janet Capaldo and Pearl Carfagno.

She is survived by: her son Ralph Rubert (Debbie) of Green Lane, PA; and her granddaughters, Ashley and Kayla.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carmela's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428 and/or the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
