He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Walter Kleinert, Sr. and Ruth C.. He is survived by: his wife Carole Kleinert; his children, Virginia, Melissa Kleinert, Tracy Monaghan (Jeff), Adam Kleinert and Brielle Kleinert (Frank); his sisters, Sharon Fields (Barry), Dot Guille Donna Kleinert (Steve) and Diane McKeon (Tommy); and his grandchildren, Shawn, Abigail, Easton and Frankie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations in Carl's memory for a honorary memorial to be placed in his name at the Phillies Stadium.
