He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard "Nun" Dewitt and Opal Ruth Ohler (Sanner); his son Leonard L. Ohler, Jr; his stepson Carl Shroyer; and his siblings, Teed Ohler Frederick, Larry T. Ohler and Rodney Ohler.
He is survived by: his daughter Sylvia Hurt (Robert Soares); his grandchildren, Josh Ohler (Audum Bianco), Jonathan Hurt (Sabrina Spiker) and Jessica Soares (Brandon Widener); his great grandchildren, Gracie Widener and Landon Spiker; his daughters, Linda Goodwin (Clyde Hurt) and Tanya Rummell (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Lacey Goodwin Nicholson, Travis Goodwin (Melissa) and Cody Rummell; and his siblings, Bernard Ohler (JoAnn), Joyce Martin (Wayne), Doris Logan (Buck) and Howard Ohler (Doris). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
