He was predeceased by: his parents, John Laws and Mary Fulton Shultz Laws; his wife Rosella Leighty Laws; his children, Rocky David and Vicki Sue; his siblings, Clyde Laws, Elmer Shultz, Simon Shultz and Louise Shultz Richter; and his daughter-in-law Carla McElhaney Laws.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Laws (Pamela Prior), Candace Johnson (Wayne) and Roxanne Laws; and his grandchildren, Shawnee Storm (Derek), Windi Kretchman (Kevin), Shadyia Watson (Aaron), Aileen Reiber (Brion), Larry Ray Laws (Sirena), Sara Wright, Mariah Barnett and Emily Barnett. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
