He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Evans and Zeida Evans (Winters); and his sister-in-law Marion Houser. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Houser; his son Philip Jr. (Debbie); his grandson Ryan Evans of Dalton; his brothers, David, Del Houser, Dayle McElwee and Ben Houser of Nicholson; and also Helen Richardson of Newton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
