He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lengel, Sr. and Mary; and his sister Irma Falls. He is survived by: his wife Alice Hontz; his sons, Thomas Lengel of Dalton, PA, Edward Lengel and Mark Lengel (Cheryl) of Woodcliff Lake, NJ.; his stepchildren, Bill Reidsema (Lisa) and Gretchen Reidsema; his siblings, Richard Lengel and Nancy Haudenschield; and his grandchildren, Mason, Maddie, Brennan, Jonathan, Charlotte Lengel, Sydelle, Arielle, Michelle and Lennae Reidsema. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
