It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Scrimalli Murrin of Nicholson, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael E. Scrimalli and Josephine Belavage Scrimalli; her siblings, Carmen M. Scrimalli and Theresa Scrimalli Rinaldi (Dan); her nephew Michael Rinaldi; and her brother-in-law Thomas Murrin.

She is survived by: her husband William Murrin; her daughters, Aubrey Collins (Jon) of Caldwell, NJ, Kiersten Gatto (John) and Elyse Murrin (Joey Trinity) of Denver, CO; her grandchildren, Emilia, Madeline and Michael; her sister Rose Kobeski (Fran); her siblings-in-law, Regina Wisneski (Stanley) and Frank Murrin; and her niece Cassie Kobeski Schlittler. She is also survived by daughter to her; many cousins; and countless friends.
