He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar F. Brownawell and Bertha B. Fulton Brownawell; and his siblings, George, Richard Brownawell and Pauline Heller.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Starr Brownawell; his daughters, Vicki Johnson (Doug) and Lacey Brownawell; his stepchildren, Denise Nenninger (Gordon), Kathie Galbraith (Allen) and Steve Jacobs (Teri); his grandsons, Garrett and Drew Johnson; and his stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Lily Nenninger, Jessica, Jenna, Jake and John Jacobs.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Egger Funeral Home Inc. (15 W Big Spring Ave, Newville, PA 17241). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fridayin the Funeral Home.
