He is survived by: his wife Karen L. Smith (Nailor); his daughters, Aubrie L. Griffie (Andrew) of Carlisle and Darla R. Smith of Carlisle; and his siblings, Merle E. Smith, Jr. of Beaver Springs, PA, Debra Maclay of Carlisle and Tammy Mislyan of Shermans Dale. He is also survived by five grandchildren and several nieces and other relatives.
