He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Filmore Bailey and Mable Woods Bailey; and his siblings, Carl Bailey, John Bailey, Harry Bailey, James Bailey, Ethel Snyder, Mary Mains, Catherine Burkholder and Betty Lay.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam A. Menges Bailey; and his children, Robert Bailey Jr. (Annette), Roger Bailey, David Bailey (Tricia), Diann Kitner and Christine Junkins (Robert). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
