He is survived by: his significant other Betty Jane Eyer; his stepson Gary Lee Barrick; and his siblings, Glen Vanasdlen, Ronald Vanasdlen, Robert Vanasdlen, Naomi Helms, Kay Phillips and Cecelia Fulton. He is also survived by three step grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.
