He is survived by: his wife Karen Valek (Elsesser) of Newville; his children, Michael Valek of Newville and Maria Butler (Mark) of Arlington, TX; his grandchildren, Connor and Julia of Arlington, TX; and his nephew Matthew McNeal of Apollo, PA..
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Life Community Church (3151 Ritner Hwy, Newville, PA 17241).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church, Christian Life Community Church.
