She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Plank and Vesta Thumma Plank (Thrush); her husband Norman R. Smith; and her brother Charles Thumma. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy; her sister Shirley Chronister of Newville; her grandchildren, Cody, Adam Wert and Emily Wert; and her great grandchildren, Reese Barrick and Eve Barrick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
