He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon E. Funk and Margaret A. Funk (Wheeler). He is survived by: his wife Lisa D. Strayer; his sons, David A. Funk (Dena) of Barto, PA, Brian E. Funk (Kristen) of Newville and Eric C. Funk (Karla J. Dechene) of Newville; his stepsons, Ryan L. Gutshall (Kelly Anderson) of Chambersburg and Dwayne D. Gutshall of Shippensburg; his grandchildren, Cam Gutshall U. S. A., Maisy Funk of Barto, PA, Kayley Gutshall of Wilmington, NC, Lillian Gutshall of Chambersburg and Lydia Gutshall of Chambersburg; and his sisters, Vonnie Heishman (Gary) of Carlisle and Mary Ann Gift (Daniel) of Middleburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
