He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sensebaugh Christlieb and Grace Elizabeth Watson Christlieb; and his wife Kathryn Seitz Christlieb (Kate). He is survived by: his children, Susan Linn Christlieb Naugle (Patrick) of Gettysburg, PA, Jane Ellen Christlieb O'Brien (Richard) of Powder Springs, GA and Darby L Christlieb (Margaret) of Carlisle, PA; and his daughter-in-law Pamela Christlieb of Carlisle, PA.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
