He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. Mattson and Josephine N. Mattson (Low). He is survived by: his wife Valorie A. Mattson (Eckeart); his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Sam, Caleb and Abby; his great grandchild Isabella; and his sister Ellen Clawges (Russ) of Morgantown, WV.
