Carpenter Sr. of Newville, Pennsylvania, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Mary M. Ellinger Carpenter and Helen P. Jones Carpenter; his children, James R. Carpenter Jr. (Connie) of Carlisle, Nancy P. Carpenter and Donna M. Bertolini (Douglas); his brothers, Barton Carpenter, William Carpenter (Mel) and Frank Carpenter (Bev); his grandchildren, Justin, Derrick Carpenter, Mallory and James Bertolini; and his brother Harry Ellinger. He was also cherished by eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in Jim's name be made to Wesleyan Church of the Cross, 430 B St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
