With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Leer Thumma (Newville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Otis and Lovina Sarah Thumma (Leer); his wife Nancy; and his siblings, Richard, Raymond, Elwood Thumma and Margaret Anderson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Alice Williamson (Keith) and Lois Ann Ilardi (Robert); his grandchildren, Emily Mozdy (Joseph) and Adam Leer Wilson (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Blakely and Avalee; and his sisters, Charlotte Dyer, Freda Franklin (Kenneth), St Thomas, Mary Hornberger and Betty Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, in Don's name.
