He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Garner and Edith Garner (Walters); and his siblings, Paul, Rodger, Charles, Ken, Wilmer, Darlene Garner, Christine Bupp and Betty Arnesburger.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Garner (Killinger) of Newville; his children, Rusty Garner of Mechanicsburg, Stacey Gutshall of Mechanicsburg and Sheree Hopkins of Mechanicsburg; his stepchildren, Sam Neidigh, Anita Neidigh, Sherry Etter-Hare and Donna Barclay; and his brothers, Jim and Rodney Garner. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
