She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Clyde Smith and Estella Smith (Seibert); and her husband Philip J. Carlin. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis "Teedee" E. Dechene and Philip "Flip" J. Carlin, Jr.; her siblings, Dottie Jane Linard and Dennis Smith; her grandchildren, Philip J. Carlin, III, Brianne L. Carlin, Richard T. Dechene, Jr., Rene L. Diehl, Lane Wark and Jennifer Lang; her great grandchildren, Tatiana Cosme, Evan Carlin, Carlin Diehl and Cassie Diehl; and her great great grandchild Juliet Cosme. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
