He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Dowd and Jennie Dowd; and his siblings, Richard, Earl, Robert, Edward, David and Lucille.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Dowd (Saphore); his daughter Vicki Rhoads (Sam) of Carlisle; his grandchildren, Stephanie Owusu (Emmanuel) of Wexford and Samuel Rhoads (Lauren) of Mt. Holly Springs; and his great grandchildren, Joanna and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
