We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024, Rabbi Howard Hersch (Newtown, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Avra (Elie Gordis), Seth (Renee Hersch), Jonathan (Julie Hersch), Elicia Brand (David Leudemann) and Marni Brand (Mike Berg); his grandchildren, Tamar, Ben, Amy, Rebecca, Ezra, Arielle, Shira, Noah, Carter, Parker, Isla, Kye and Joss; his sister Judy; and his brother-in-law Marvin Kantor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
