He was predeceased by: his sister Virginia Shakarjian (Ara). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Schlosser Garabed; his parents, Philip S. Garabed and Rebecca Garabed (Hovsepian); and his children, David and Rebecca. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
