She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Burton and Eugene Burton; her brother Eugene Burton Jr.; her husband Joseph McCardell; and her former husband Joseph Knott III.
She is survived by: her sisters, Kathleen Blouch and Jane Zador (John); her children, Joseph Knott IV (Gina), David Knott (Karen), James Knott (Shelly), Mary Beth Flatley (Brian) and Kathleen Todd (John); and her grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph, Brian, Erin, Ashley, Ethan, Ryan and Charles.
