Susan Salene Hawthorne Obituary
In loving memory of Susan Salene Hawthorne of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 92. Susan leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Smeigh and Edward Smeigh; and her husband V. Terrey Hawthorne. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Jewart (Brad) of Manheim and Jon Hawthorne (Cindy) of Brooklyn, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Daniel Hawthorne, Amanda Youtz (Benjamin), Amy Lantz (Cole), Jamie Malone, Michelle Cherry (Jason), Breanna Jewart, Julianne Jones (Charles) and Mary Brown (Aaron). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White Horse Village (535 Gradyville Rd, Newtown Square, PA 19073). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
