She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis and Nadeua of Florida; her brother Louis; her husband Harry R. "Bud" Whitman; and her great grandchild Sophie T. Abbott.
She is survived by: her children, Richard (Lynn), Marie Mangino (Nicholas), James (Alison Whyte), John (Linda) and Patricia Whitman (Sheri Newmark). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
