With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Francis McGowan Jr. of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Francis Sr. and Joan Veronica McGowan; and his sister Lizanne Ulmer. He is survived by: his wife Helen McGowan (Donohoe); his children, Christine St. John (Andrew), Joseph Francis Thomas McGowan, III and Moira Gregg (Thomas); his grandchildren, Harrison St. John, Savannah St. John, Quinn Gregg and Lochlann Gregg; and his brother Leo McGowan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church (1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
