He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Flynn; and his children, Joseph Martin Flynn, III (Gale), Daniel Flynn (Barbara), Matthew Flynn, Thomas Flynn (JoAnne) and Elizabeth Jane Flynn. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren AND 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to St. Joseph Preparatory School, 1733 W. Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130.
