With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jenny Zalkind of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, born in Havertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 25, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George VanDusen and Yvonne Eberly VanDusen. She is survived by: her husband Mitchell Zalkind; and her children, Jacquelyn Yvonne and Kyle Ray.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, services and interment will remain private.

In lieu of flowers, Jenny would love you to go plant a tree, or you can donate to The Malvern Memorial Cabin Foundation.

“Mrs. Z there was no one like you lady. I am grateful to have been able to spend time with you and your family, we had so many good memories. I remember when we used to sing and dance in your kitchen to Bennie and the Jets and you would change the lyrics to Jenny and the Bets and I still sing it that way sometimes. I am glad I was able to speak with you on the phone one last time a couple weeks ago, I missed hearing how you would say my name when you greeted me. Love you, D. Brown”
