She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Sebastian Evans, Jr. and Ella Mary Evans; her husband Gordon A. Russell; and her brother Samuel Sebastian Evans, III. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Janet Russell Hitt (late William C. Hitt, Jr.); her nephews, William C. Hitt, III (Nancy Sachs) and David M. Hitt; and her close friend Jimmy Allen.
