He is survived by: his children, James Carter (Divinia), Catelyn Carter and Sophia Carter; his grandchildren, Juliana and Anatalia Carter; and his siblings, Patricia Plotner (Henry), Ruth Stief, Mary Anne Palmer, John Carter and Carol Cook. He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
