He was predeceased by: his parent John Angus; and his sibling John Gillis (Ruth). He is survived by: his parent Eleanor R. Gillis; and his siblings, Margaret Gillis, Eleanor Gillis (Kevin Boyle), Victoria Gillis (Meryl Hall) and Angus Gillis (Joanne). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
