He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Johnston and Lillian Johnston (Roche); his brother Donald Johnston (Barbara); and his nephew Donald. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Johnston; his children, Thomas, Lisa DeMitis (Dom), Edward and Laura; his grandchildren, Gianna and Marissa DeMitis; and his stepfather Bill Wagner.
