He was predeceased by: his sibling John. He is survived by: his spouse Christina McHugh; his children, Brian T. McHugh (late Adele), Ann Marie Dougherty (Robert) and Christopher K. McHugh (Gina); and his siblings, Peter McHugh, Joseph and Teresa Staiber.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to St. Thomas More Archdiocesan Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 294, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
