It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Edwin Borgh Jr. of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edwin Borgh, Sr. and Theodora (Burke); and his sister Marilyn Cassel (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Grace Haabestad; his children, Kristina Shore (Scott), Carl (Michelle), Brenda Bartlett (Dave) and Erik (Tara); his grandchildren, Songja Pettit (Michael), Kindell Watlington (Matthew), Kyra Shore, Josh Borgh (Sarah), Emily Cooke (Taylor), Dr. Bjarne Bartlett, Quinn Bartlett (Justine), Alaina Borgh, Kyle Borgh, Eli, Luke, Caleb Watlington, Evelyn, Casey Cooke and Nina Borgh; and also, Liam and Kylie Pettit. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Newtown Square Historical Society in Edwin's memory.
