He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur H. "Knute" Laird Jr. and Margery I. Laird (Bicehouse); and his son Mac Laird. He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Little); his children, Teri Warner, Jeff Laird, Karen Carter, David Jones, Lena Snyder, Brandi Treaster and Jody Hassinger; and his siblings, Larry Laird, Linda Harford, Dorothy "Dot" Laird and Barbara Brougher. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
