As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Russell may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Hoover and Dorothy Hoover; and his sister-in-law Sandra Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn (Lynn); and his stepdaughters, Mary Jo Anemaat of Kansas and Pam Lenz of Maine. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Friends of Clarks Ferry Tavern, PO Box 184, Duncannon, PA 17020 and note Russ Hoover Memorial in the memo of the check.
