He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sr. Flickinger and Margaret Flickinger; his wife Nancy; and his brother Herbert Flickinger Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Zaring (Marvin) and Elaine Buffington (Bill); his grandchildren, Jenniffer Bates Jeffrey (Chris), Jessica Bryson (Dave), Andrew Buffington (Denise) and Erin Buffington Myers; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Zachary, Logan Bates, Lexie, Landon, Lucas Zaring, Tripp, Cash, Jett Bryson, Drew Hockley, Zayden Myers, Carter, Makenna Buffington, Mason and Grant Kauffman; his sister Beverly Shirk; and his sister-in-law Susan Stump (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newport Fire Hall (301 Mulberry St, Newport, PA 17074).
